In every age, people try to define the meaning of life. Life is a search for many things. It is a search for knowledge, a better education, good health; a search for faith and a sense of belonging. Life is also a search for wisdom, in other words, a search for the true, the good and the beautiful.

It is my great privilege and honour to serve you as your chaplain. I encourage you all to enrich yourself with the gifts of knowledge and wisdom both at work and university. The gift of knowledge will help you in your workplaces; studies, researches, as well as your services to others in whatever field it might be (could be on a soccer field!). Beside this, I encourage you also to give yourself a chance to discern the gift of wisdom. Wisdom is not some thing we can earn; it is a special gift of God for each individual person. Wisdom can give us the capacity to make the most appropriate choices, the capacity to articulate our situation constructively from a point of view which enables us to see consequences and identify irrelevancies more clearly, thereby empowering us to make better choices.

I pray the wisdom of God will be with you in your work, study, as well as in your duty in proclaiming the Good News to the world, and to those who we hold dear in our heart.

To conclude, I wish to invite you all to come to our monthly Sunday youth Mass, our retreat, voice of the youth, WYD11 in Madrid and other events may be occurred each month, please visit our website regularly to update our events.
